Here's the latest video contest rules and details . . .
1. No palms allowed.
2. Only one single myachi allowed. No multi-sack tricks or juggles.
3. No foot tricks allowed.
4. Maximum video length of a minute and a half (1:30)
5. Criteria for judgement include: originality, creativity, difficulty (only a bit), precision, smooth flow, camera angles, music, editing. Also, forum-wide polls, voting on the winners will be taken into account.
6. Extra credit for references to favorite MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL teams and players, especially involving light-hearted rivalry humor.
7. To recap, you don't have to be the most amazing trickster in the world to win this contest. Only one sack, no foot tricks, and difficulty only counts a little bit. The best videos will find clever ways to make any given myachi footage look and sound good.
8. Hint: Slow motion is very useful on the editing room floor for showing certain complex moves and combos.
9. Multiple submissions by the same person are accepted.
10. The more total videos entered into the contest, the better the prize pool. Watch for updates on exact prizes, as the number of entries rises. This means everyone has the power to keep upping the stakes, by entering videos early to see the prizes get bigger.
11. Tentative deadline is July 1, 2010.
Post a link to your video as a response, each time you make an entry. Jam well.

Some clarification:
I made this contest one sack only, and no foot tricks, so that even a newer player who might not have lots of advanced tricks still has a good chance to win. This should encourage more people to participate, which means bigger prizes, more prestige, more pride, and more bragging rights.
Keep in mind that the best video for this contest can be more like a humorous Myachi commercial, than a straight-up trick video. The perfect video would be similar to a Sports Center commercial, like the one with LeBron James getting his throne office chair stolen by Scott Van Pelt. Except for this contest, obviously Myachi has to be the focus.
So a better example would be the one with the NFL player in full pads playing Jenga with the little analyst guy in a cubicle, and when the huge football player loses, the little guy goes crazy screaming "JENGA!!!" right up in his face. Hilarious - youtube it.
The myachi version would have had the little guy winning a game of MYACH against Tony Romo, and going nuts at the end yelling, "Your hand-eye coordination is WEEEEAK! Maybe some hand sack training could prevent crucial fumbles in EXTREMELY important football situations! This guy thinks he can quarterback an NFL team?!? He can't even do a behind the back, triple popper, wolverine, toe stall! Unbelievable."

I definitely still want tricks in there, so the Romo commercial would have shown plenty of actual MYACH being played, but much more creative license than a normal trick video contest.

| The extra credit part means that if you incorporate your favorite pro sports teams and players into the video somehow, especially in a humorous way, you'll get some bonus points during the final evaluations.
