Has anyone else heard of Fushigi??? It's this magical floating ball that is a ball, inside of a ball, and it looks like it's floating in midair in your hands. But I was looking at it, and it reminded me of (can you guess???) myachi. Some of the moves look like myachi moves. It might just be a coincidence, or the person who created it knows about myachi, and just decided to invent this ball inside a ball act that copies the flow of the myachi. It's kind of cool, but I can guarantee that it's not gonna be more popular than myachi! All I'm saying is, that there is a comparison between myachi and fushigi.
But, there was a commercial for fushigi, and no commercial for myachi. I know that there is one, but they never aired it. Why not? The only thing I could think of is... too much money to air it,and too much money for it to be on different channels.

Lol, it's contact juggling, it's been around for years. It's just a ball, the people in the commercial have been doing it for years. It's a rip off of one of the coolest and most difficult skill toy's around. Basically it's a ball and a lot of effort. here's a good video of cj: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFafcjA_p7E

| lol, well the Brand may be new, but the Concept is not! As a matter of fact Dube' Juggling has contact juggling balls that look way cooler! lol Crazy Ivan has been doing Contact juggling for a while so I know all about it! lol Dube' is one of the best Juggling companies out there, check out their website! Yes, he does, there is one near FAO here in NY!
Yeah Micheal M. is awesome, we have one of his videos too, and for those of you who didn't know, it was his Hands doing the contact juggling in the movie Labyrinth! ( when David Bowie does it!)

| Well said guys. Yeah itis just contact juggling. I saw the commercial and thought the same thing camjam. Like how they did the slingshot 180. But it doesnt matter. Myachi has a better chance, i belive. Its easy for youngsters and oldies. Anyone can do it and make it look good.

Well, there is a HUGE uproar in the contact juggling community over it. When they first came out with it, their website described it as a "Magic, gravity defying ball." They eventually backed away from that and now admit that it is a contact ball. It's actually a low quality one at that.
So two things camjam brought up that I wanted to answer.
1) Contact moves look a lot like Myachi moves sometimes. Sometimes it's because the contact move is what inspired the Myachi move and sometimes (but way less often), the Myachi Move inspired the contact move. I have been doing CJ (as the in-the-know call it) for about 16 years now, 9 years longer than I've been doing Myachi, so when I first came into the game I was using a lot of CJ moves. In fact, I even invented a move called the Moschen (after Michael Moschen, the godfather of cotact juggling).
2) Myachi commercial. Here's the thing, it's REALLY hard to make any money on what is called a directbuy or infomercial if your product costs less than $20. Really hard. Once we have the Myachi in stores nationwide and you can pick it up at any old Toys R Us or WalMart, it will make a lot more sense to run the commercial more often.
But it did run. It still runs now and again when we see Myachi getting hot in a particular area we will occasionally run a few commercials there.
